It wouldn’t be wrong to say Sanjay and Binaiferr Kohli’s Happu Ki Ultan Platan is the portrait of comedy in the Indian TV industry. The show, which is produced under the Edit II banner, has completed nine years on-air, and is looking forward to completing another nine and beyond.
The show, which is produced under the Edit II banner, features Yogesh Tripathi, Geetanjali Mishra, Himani Shivpuri, Sanjay Chaudhary, and Sonal Panwar, to name a few.
Here’s what to expect in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan this week. Haapu dreams that he has been promoted, and the next morning, he excitedly shares this dream with his family. However, Malaika mocks his dream. Haapu then shares it with Beni, who suggests that Haapu create his own case and solve it, which will surely get him the promotion. Haapu likes the idea and, with Beni’s help, goes to the Commissioner’s house and steals his wife’s necklace. But while stealing the necklace, Haapu doesn’t realize that a blackmailer has recorded the entire incident.
The blackmailer then calls Haapu, telling him that he has footage of the theft. Haapu gets worried as the blackmailer starts blackmailing him. The blackmailer forces Haapu to do a series of tasks, like taking cheating papers from his children’s school and giving them to the teacher, putting Rajesh’s new sandals in water, and even spreading gossip about Amma. Haapu is forced to obey the blackmailer, which leads to conflicts with his family. Meanwhile, the Commissioner, who is secretly investigating, is forced to hide in a police station after the necklace is stolen.
Later, the blackmailer visits the police station, revealing that he did all of this to take revenge on Haapu for upsetting his family. He says his revenge is complete and returns the necklace to the Commissioner. Haapu later returns home and tells his family the truth, explaining that everything he did was in the hopes of getting a promotion. His family lovingly advises him to earn the promotion through the right way.
Later, the blackmailer visits the police station, revealing that he did all of this to take revenge on Haapu for upsetting his family. He says his revenge is complete and returns the necklace to the Commissioner. Haapu later returns home and tells his family the truth, explaining that everything he did was in the hopes of getting a promotion.
