Mumbai, July 15, 2026 — Saanvie Tallwar, a familiar face in Indian television known for her versatile performances across popular shows, has taken on one of her most demanding roles yet in the newly released web series Khamosh Aahatein.

The psychological horror thriller premiered on July 10, marking a significant departure from Tallwar’s previous work in family dramas and historical sagas. In an exclusive conversation, the actress described the project as a gripping blend of suspense, emotion, and supernatural elements that keeps audiences on edge.

“Khamosh Aahatein is a psychological horror thriller that blends suspense, emotions, and the supernatural in a very gripping way,” Tallwar shared. “What makes it even more special is that while the primary cast is from India, the supporting cast includes talented actors from Pakistan and Dubai, giving the project a unique collaborative feel.”

Tallwar anchors the series as Ria, the central character whose journey drives the entire narrative. Portrayed as a devoted mother, loving wife, and caring sister, Ria initially views her family as her greatest strength. However, her world spirals into darkness when she becomes entangled in a mysterious Chakravyuh curse — a concept where every promise exacts a heavy sacrifice.

“Her life takes an unexpected turn when she becomes trapped in a mysterious Chakravyuh curse,” the actress explained. “From that moment on, Ria’s world changes completely, and the audience experiences every twist, emotion, and revelation through her journey.”

The role required Tallwar to explore profound emotional and psychological depths, presenting a character rich with contrasting shades. She called the experience both challenging and fulfilling, noting the constant transitions demanded a level of intensity she had not previously encountered in her career.

“Playing a character who carries the emotional and psychological weight of the entire story was both challenging and incredibly fulfilling,” she said. “It gave me the opportunity to explore so many different shades of one character. Those constant transitions made Ria one of the most challenging and rewarding characters I’ve portrayed.”

Production for Khamosh Aahatein took place entirely in Dubai, adding an international dimension to the storytelling. The team filmed across diverse locations, including bustling streets and upscale hotels, which Tallwar credits with enhancing the project’s memorable quality.

“We shot the entire series across different locations in Dubai,” she recalled. “It was a wonderful experience, and shooting in such diverse locations made the journey even more memorable for me.”

Her on-screen chemistry with co-star Raqesh Bapat further elevated the performance. Tallwar admitted she was pleasantly surprised by the opportunity, having admired Bapat’s work in films like Tum Bin. The pair developed a strong professional bond that, according to her, naturally improved their scenes.

“I had a great working equation with Raqesh Bapat,” she noted. “We share a great bond. When you have a good co-star, your performance automatically becomes better.”

Tallwar’s television credits include Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum, O Gujariya: Badlein Chal Duniya, Chandra Nandini, Sufiyana Pyaar Mera, Ali Baba, and Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyaag Tandav. Her transition into web series reflects the industry’s evolving landscape, where actors seek complex characters beyond traditional formats.

Looking ahead, the actress remains selective about future projects. Quality remains her guiding principle over volume.

“I’m open to exploring all kinds of roles as long as they challenge me as an actor,” Tallwar stated. “For me, it’s always about quality over quantity. I’m looking for meaningful characters with depth, roles that have a purpose, allow me to grow, and leave a lasting impact on the audience.”

Beyond acting, storytelling has remained a lifelong passion. Tallwar began her career as a writer, contributing to established television shows, and continues to nurture her love for writing and singing.

“If I hadn’t become an actor, I think I would have been a writer,” she reflected. “Even today, writing is something I’m deeply connected to. It’s another form of storytelling that I truly enjoy and one that will always be close to my heart.”

With Khamosh Aahatein, Saanvie Tallwar demonstrates her readiness to tackle bold, unconventional narratives. The series not only tests her acting prowess but also highlights the growing trend of cross-border collaborations in Indian entertainment. As audiences stream the thriller, many will watch to see how Ria navigates the delicate balance between love, duty, and sacrifice in a world where silence carries its own haunting echoes.
